How to Request Local Data

Learn more below about how to access local data, the available standard reports, and custom report inquiries.
Looking for school or district level data? Please discuss data sharing with your local district first, then send a signed Data Use Agreement (DUA) to CSPHSurveyTeam@CUAnschutz.edu for electronic access to reports.
Standard Reports for the HKCS and Smart Source are the most commonly requested. Brief descriptions are included below, and video tutorials for reports can be accessed here.

HKCS Frequency Report – longest report, includes all indicators

HKCS Snapshot – shortest report, includes select indicators only, local compared with regional (when available) and state data

HKCS Trend Report – available at district level only, after participation in 3+ survey years, includes all common indicators & correlating trend

Paired Indicator Report – for schools that complete both the HKCS & Smart Source, short report that pairs select indicators by topic area

Smart Source Immediate Report – returned shortly after submission, compares school response to best practice

Smart Source Final Report – local compared with regional (when available) and state data
Custom Reports may be requested by contacting CSPHSurveyTeam@CUAnschutz.edu. Examples of custom reports include specific geographic areas such as a county that combines several districts, or specific demographic stratifications or indicators.
